In September 2005 the scientific world has seen the emergence of a new unique scholarly journal "Cellular Transplantation and Tissue Engineering". The target audience is expected to be specialists working with cellular technologies, molecular biology, gene therapy and other areas of biotechnology.

Although being intented for science researchers the journal is also a very valuable resource of information for clinicists of different specialities.

Since 2006 the journal was accepted and recommended by the superior certification comission of the Education Department of the Russian Federation Goverment as the publication for submitting scientific papers.

Beginning with the Millenium there was an unprecedented increase of interest in cellular technologies. And not least this is due to the potential of these technologies in clinical treatment. At the same time there is a big gap in fundamental knowledge in that active area of science. We state our goal to fill the void with high quality original scientific material.
